The town of Senica has been located at the crossroads of trade routes since prehistoric times. From the north to the south, along the Morava River, the "Amber Road" led, and from the west to the east, a trade route led, known in the Middle Ages as the "Czech Road". Thanks to the important location at the crossroads of trade routes, we can archeologically document the settlement during all periods of human history.
